This is an informational
page for letting people know about me & what I do for fun. I
am an Artist-Blacksmith by hobby. Professionally I'm a network administrator
in a manufacturing environment. I know, kinda strange, high tech
job & low tech hobby!
I finally bought a house in the country!! As soon as I move I
should have a good sized shop & two other outbuildings!! By this
fall I should have everything all set up & be forging again. I'll
be able to have a coal forge now for those big & odd shaped pieces.
On the personal front, I have a 3 year old son
& can't wait till he's old enough to help out at the forge!
I sell some of the things on this site, gas forges & some
of my smithing work. If you are interested in anything (except the
kid or animals!)(Grin) drop me an email & I'll let you know if it's
for sale, how much & when I can get it to you.
Lately I have been getting interested in alternative
fuels, mainly Biodiesel. I've recently purchased a 1982 Mercedes 240D
to run it in. So far I've run about 80 gallons in it with great success!
One of these days, I'm planning on adding a heated fuel tank, heated fuel
line & a solenoid so I can run on straight vegetable oil! I'll post
some links and pictures of my progress soon.
