Biodiesel Processor

This is the outside of my processor, so far.  It is a 55 gallon drum with a cone welded onto the bottom.  The stand is angle iron with 1" pipe for legs.  The wires are to support the drum.

  Inside Processor

This is the inside of my processor.  I have a 5/8" shaft running in bearings.  It has a small propeller on the bottom for the mixer.  I put in two baffles to aid in mixing, they will cause more turbulence in the oil.  The two holes on the side were going to be for water heating elements, before I decided not to make this a vacuum processor.  I'm going to plug one & use the other for pumping in the oil from the heating tank.

Processor

These two pictures are of my completed processor!!  Well, I still want to insulate the main tank, but that's all.  I've got an old burner for melting lead or babbit I'm cleaning up for heating the preheat tank.  I think it's for kerosene, but the way it's set up it will burn just about anything.  I'm going to burn biodiesel in it..
My pump is not self priming, that's why I put it where it is.  I'd rather have it pull the oil through the filter, rather than push it, but I'm using what I had around.
