These are my first Damascus knives.  The two single edge blades are made out of 160 layers of leaf spring andmild steel in a ladder pattern.  The handles are made out of curleymaple coated with tung oil.
  The double edge blade is only about 10 layers of O1 and mild steel that has been twisted to obtain this pattern.
